Kruger Safari
A private Safari is the ideal way to
experience a unique view of South Africa’s largest and most famous Game
Reserve, the Kruger National Park. Your hosts, Riate Kruger Tours are
specialised in personalised tours lead by QBE-Stan Stanton known as “the
Leopard”. Whilst on Safari, binoculars and mammal/birding books are
available on the vehicle as are soft drinks, mineral water and snacks.
An air-conditioned eight-seater vehicle - preferably 2-6 guests to
ensure window seats for all - is the perfect way to escape the elements
of the African climate.

Tour Itinerary
Riate Luxury Tented B&B to Kruger
National Park
Departure from B&B, to proceed towards the Kruger National Park. This is
a private Safari. We will endeavour to ensure you have a memorable
experience!
Kruger is home to 147 mammals and over 500 species of birds have been
recorded. Large herds of Elephants and Buffalos are often encountered,
as are Lions and Rhino. General game is plentiful and the secretive
Leopard can sometimes be spotted sleeping in a tree in the heat of the
day or stealthily moving through the bush.
The Safari commences with a leisurely game viewing drive before arriving
at a Camp for brunch. After brunch, continue searching for those unique
photographic opportunities. There is a good chance of seeing a breeding
herd of Elephants with newly born calves or even a pride of lions.
General game abounds and includes the elegant Giraffe, a dazzle of
Zebra, a majestic Kudu bull, a sounder of Warthogs and the plentiful
herds of Impala.
We arrive back at Riate Luxury Tented B&B well before Sunset. Time to freshen up
and enjoy refreshments in the lapa or on the deck at the pool whilst
reminiscing about the memories of the day in the bushveld.
Dinner is served in the Lapa in true bush
style braai on prior arrangement at an extra cost.
